The Magic Trick to better Mental Health
Everyone should practice it
One of the most frustrating feelings in life is frustration. Whether it be problems in a relationship, at work or in life in general, it is a hard feeling to decipher and get past.
Recently I started a job. It has been 8 months since I started but it feels like 8 years. I am frustrated with my job because I am gaining no skills. I am not working in the position or company that I really want to work at. The point is: there is no point in working at this job.
When it feels like where you are is not where you are supposed to be, it is hard to keep your head up.
Thankfully, through my studies and personal development I have realized that the one trick to remain positive and release any type of negative feeling is showing gratitude.
So when I feel any negative emotions from my current job position I show gratitude. I remind myself that my current job gives me a steady paycheck, it gives me enough free time to pursue other hobbies and relax while being able to stay at home with my family. In addition, I get to work with a positive and supporting team.
When I remind myself of the ways that I can be grateful for my job rather than ungrateful, I alleviate any negative feelings. It really goes to show how much of your emotions stem from your mindset about things.
In The Magic by Rhonda Byrnes, she encourages readers to follow the month long gratitude practices so readers can raise their vibration and attract better things into their lives. Practicing gratitude is a great way for people to work on their mental health too!
Personally, I believe showing gratitude and constantly reminding myself what I should be thankful for in my life has helped me to feel less stressed.
