It took me many many years to understand why I woke up with fatigue, headaches and anxiety after a healthy 8–10 hours of sleep every night. After trial and error with many different types of night routines, I have perfected a routine that has helped me the most.

I am sure that if you are reading this you have had your fair share of difficulties with getting optimal sleep. Unsatisfying sleep feels like headaches, fatigue and restlessness throughout the morning and sometimes for the rest of the day. Millions of Americans struggle to get the best sleep possible every night, which is not surprising since there are more reasons to stay up now more than ever. Some including:

Dopamine hits- from apps like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, reddit, and Snapchat are more accessible than ever, and at any time. These apps are designed to keep you hooked and staring at your screen.

Caffeine- one of the most widely used stimulants is easily accessible. Almost every energy drink and most sodas have an absurd amount of caffeine in each serving.

Blue Light- from your laptop, phone and tv. All of them constantly buzzing and active throughout the day.
