How I Got My First $1M Client

As a 22 year old Newly Licensed Real Estate Agent

This past year has been an incredible year in terms of milestones hit in my personal career.

At just 5 months into 2021, I have successful completed my Real Estate Coursework, Passed both Class Exams, Passed The State Exam, signed with Coldwell Banker Brokerage to hang my license with, started my new full time job at a REIT to enter The Real Estate Development field, and landed my first client!

This all happened after I quit my dead end Analyst job at a mediocre bank in my town. I remember reading Charlamagne Tha God’s article and seeing this quote:

“That feeling you have inside you, telling you that you’re bigger than the dirt road you’re living on? It’s absolutely correct”

This is the way I felt at my average job as an analyst. Deep down inside me, I had a feeling that there was something more exciting, purposeful and exhilarating that I was aligned with.

I was not wrong.

In 2020, after months of feeling like I was headed no where at my desk job, I decided to start conducting informational interviews with anyone in my network that worked in Real Estate.
