An Angry Rant
I watched a documentary the other day.
It was a David Attenborough documentary about Our Planet. The documentary shows him exploring and traveling all around the world since he started his career in his 20s. From India to Africa to Alaska.
Something about the film touched me. I can’t put my finger on it but seeing him record gazelles in East Africa, explore jungles, fly above whales and dolphins, and play with penguins struck a chord in me.
With the Earth slowly dying in front of our own eyes and humans displacing nature for the sake of Economy and jobs, it makes you think- How much time do we really have left?
How long am I really guaranteed on this planet with my family, friends, loving co workers and neighbors? Do I really want to sit in front of a computer and mindlessly press buttons for a steady paycheck forever? How long do I sit in this inferno of monotony?
I am tired of not being able to do something that matters. I am frustrated with the state of affairs in this country. I am mad at the world for turning a blind eye to things that truly matter. I am angry.
