Why you need to get your license now
3 months ago I achieved one of my life long dreams of becoming a Real Estate Agent.
Real Estate is comforting to me. It feels like home(haha). You see, I had grown up watching HGTV on my family television growing up and going to open houses with my dad on weekends. So working in Real Estate has a special place in my heart for me.
In December 2020 I quit my job and decided to take 3 months off to get my license, relax and then prepare for my new full time job.
I do Real Estate part time. Before I got my license, all the videos and articles I would read all would say the same thing: You cannot do this job part time.
I understand now why those articles said that.
Real Estate is lucrative as hell.
Especially ever since the COVID-19 pandemic, the Real Estate market has been going crazy. The supply of homes is lower and there are so many buyers in the market because of the low interest rates. Since the supply of homes is lower, they attract more buyers and are selling in record time and at record rates.
Almost every person on my team who has had a listing has sold it above asking price.
